Under the director of the City Administrator, the Public Works Director is responsible for the general administration, development and direction of the Public Works Department, Code Compliance and supervision of a number of City functions including street maintenance, wastewater treatment, wastewater collection, building and grounds maintenance, mapping and capital improvements. Code Compliance Officer
The City of Creston is currently seeking to hire a Code Compliance Officer who will be responsible for enforcing the provisions of the Zoning and Municipal Codes adopted by the City of Creston. This individual must be skilled in decision making, be personable and work well with the public in an understanding but firm manner.
This is a full-time position with benefits and a six-month probationary period. The wage will range from $21.64 to $26.44 per hour based on qualifications and experience. A complete job description can be found below.
