Electrical Inspections & Licensing
Effective May 12, 2021, the State of Iowa will provide electrical inspections for the City of Creston. The inspections will be in accordance with inspection standards established pursuant to Iowa Code chapter 103 (2021), which may differ from established City of Creston ordinances. Electricians previously licensed by the City of Creston shall be required to obtain a State of Iowa license.
To apply for or renew an electrician license, purchase an electrical permit or request an electrical inspection please visit the state's website at https://iowaelectrical.gov .
