This is Creston's Sewer Jet Truck - The operator first jets out the sewer line which cleans any sludge and small tree roots. The operator then inserts the video camera into the line which gives the operator a view of any breaks or root intrusion.   The video is recorded on DVD for future reference.  If during the video inspection larger roots are found, the operator attaches cutting blades to cut out the roots and then flush them away.  This truck was purchased in 2008 for $329,000 from sewer revenue funds.
