The round tanks are the primary clarifiers. Wastewater flows thru the bar screen where large objects are cleaned from the channel into waste receptacles. From there the wastewater travels thru a grit removal system into the primary clarifiers. Heavy solids settle to the bottom of the tanks where it is pumped into the anaerobic digester where it is eventually transferred to cold storage tanks for land application as bio-solids.
